Primarily, the aim of the reconiguration of lower Briggate would be to create a vista and pedestrian flow through what is currently "blocked" by a dark, univiting space.
An unobstructed and appealing route with collective points of interest punctuating the flow centred by a fluid square, a heart space, allowing for pausing, or resting.
